Exhibition-fair “Unlimited Talents” took place

On December 20, the exhibition-fair “Unlimited Talents” was held at Baku State University (BSU). The purpose of the event organized jointly by the DOST Agency, BSU and the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, was to provide broad information about the rights, knowledge and skills of people with disabilities, as well as the opportunities created for them.

The event included performances by students and young people with disabilities, including listening to various ideas and projects, a performance by the inclusive group "DanceAbility Azerbaijan", a video clip dedicated to the success stories of people with disabilities, as well as an exhibition of handicrafts and a fair. The most successful projects and proposals presented at the event received the support of partner institutions. Announcements of various competitions and startup projects were made at the exhibition.

The event was attended by the rector of BSU, Professor Elchin Babayev, chairman of the board of the DOST Agency Farid Mamedov, specialist of the UN Children's Fund for Adolescent and Youth Development Nigar Nasrullaeva, representative of the organization Gender HUB Azerbaijan, actor of the Inclusive Theater «ƏSA» Orkhan Aliyev, career consultant PEA Khanoglan Sadig and other invited guests spoke about projects implemented by enterprises in the field of expanding employment opportunities, social protection, ensuring inclusion and equality of persons with disabilities, they addressed the audience with new challenges.

December 3 – As part of the Joint Action Plan for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the DOST Agency and the Baku State University, the exhibition “Unlimited Talents” was held, dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The aim of the project is to introduce students with disabilities to the society, generate their interest in various self-development programs, increase their self-confidence and ensure that they join new projects with enthusiasm and without hesitation.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater presented participants of the exhibition with 10 tickets to the play “Dante’s Anniversary”.
