In accordance with Part 1 of Article 108 of the Labor Code, with the exception of cases provided for in Articles 91, 92 and 93 of the Code, the duration of the working day in other workplaces before voting day, a holiday that is not a working day, the National Day of Mourning, regardless of the number of working days in week, one hour is reduced.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 9, 2023, in order to ensure the sequence of working days and rest days, the established dates of working days on January 4 and 5, 2024 and rest days on December 30, 2023 and January 7, 2024 were changed accordingly.
In this regard, since December 30 is a pre-holiday working day with a five-day and six-day working week, the duration of this working day at workplaces is reduced by one hour (except for the cases provided for in Articles 91, 92 and 93 of the Code).
