Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation visited the DOST Center

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission Alexey Overchuk visited the Baku DOST Center No. 2 as part of his visit to our country.

The guest was informed about the activities of the DOST Agency and the centers created by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018.

It was brought to attention that the innovations introduced by the DOST concept into the state system of social services, which became the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, made it possible to provide 159 services in social spheres from a “single window” that is transparent, flexible and responsive to the satisfaction of citizens. Over the past period, up to 2 million citizens have used DOST services.

It was emphasized that the DOST concept is highly valued at the international level and has been awarded special awards, and its application in other countries is encouraged. It is currently noted that several countries are interested in applying DOST practices.

Alexey Overchuk, who got acquainted with the services provided to the population in the center, shared good impressions of the DOST experience.

In recent years, it has also been reported about achievements towards the electronicization of public social services in our country, new digital social projects included in the best practices of international organizations.
