DOST centers served the 2 millionth citizen

The number of citizens served at DOST centers has reached 2 million. The 2 millionth citizen was served at the DOST Karabakh Regional Center, located in Barda city.

This citizen turned out to be the sister of the martyr Hidayat Valiev Valieva Solmaz Isa.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Karimov met with S. Valieva, congratulated her on becoming the 2 millionth citizen served in DOST centers, and presented her with a symbolic gift.

It was noted that since May 2019, by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the DOST Agency and 7 DOST centers were opened. The concept, implemented at the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, made it possible to provide 159 social services using the “single window” principle on an operational, transparent, modern, innovative basis.

Chairman of the Agency's Board Farid Mammadov informed about the services provided in DOST centers and said that the level of citizen satisfaction with these services is 98.1 percent.

Valieva expressed satisfaction with the quick and positive response to her appeal at the center and the overall services provided by DOST.

It should be noted that DOST services already cover the city of Baku, the Absheron region, as well as the Barda, Terter, Agdam, Shusha, Agjabadi, Khojaly, Fizuli, Khojavend districts and Khankandi city. Over the past period, the Karabakh Regional DOST Center provided services to almost 24 thousand citizens. Work is currently underway to expand DOST's activities to other regions.
