Social service institutions

The following social service institutions operate under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection:

 

            Alumni House - The institution was established to accommodate graduates of state children's institutions deprived of parental care and without a place to live. Graduates of state children's institutions deprived of parental care and without a place of residence are accomodated to the house. It is located in Masazir village, Absheron region, “Salt factory” road, 2nd block, house 1.

 

            Social service institutions for persons with disabilities due to disability - Specialized social service institutions for persons with disabilities, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, language, sex and origin, mental and mild mental disorders are stationary social service institutions intended for the provision of social services to persons over 18 years of age who do not have able-bodied relatives or legal representatives who can care for and assist them, and for the implementation of their social rehabilitation.

 

             The following 4 specialized social service institutions operate in this direction:

 

Psychoneurological Social Service Institution No. 1 - Baku city, Khazar district, Buzovna settlement, International street 20/22

Psychoneurological Social Service Institution No. 2 - Shamakhi city, N.Narimanov str. 14

Psychoneurological Social Service Institution No. 3 - Goygol district, Girikhli village

Psychoneurological Social Service Institution No. 4 - Ganja city, Kapaz district, Kurtulush str. 76

The following persons with disabilities due to mental and minor mental disorders are admitted to the institution:

 

Persons with disabilities as a result of traumatic brain injury

Persons with disabilities as a result of cerebral infections and other diseases (encephalitis, tuberculous meningitis, meningoencephalitis, cerebral syphilis, etc.)

Patients with schizophrenia with psychotic symptoms

People with epilepsy who have seizures less than 5 times a month

Persons with disabilities as a result of chronic alcoholism
