The Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, and other senior officials of the Agency participated in the international webinar.
During the meeting, Farid Mammadov provided information about the DOST concept. It was noted that the DOST centers offer 160 types of services under the "single window" principle, including labor and employment, social security, targeted state social assistance, disability and rehabilitation, pensions, social insurance, and more. The participants were informed that the DOST concept is included among the world's leading practices and has achieved international success. It was also mentioned that by 2025, 17 DOST centers and 55 DOST branches will be operational in our country.
During the webinar, issues related to the improvement of digital infrastructure, the application of innovative solutions to optimize the provision of social services to the population, and the ongoing efforts to transform digital transformation and innovation opportunities into sustainable mechanisms were discussed in the context of the DOST Agency.
The webinar was attended by representatives from pension funds and state institutions dealing with pension policy issues from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, as well as high-level experts from Uruguay, Canada, the ILO's headquarters in Geneva, and the region.
It is worth noting that the webinar was organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Turin International Training Centre, in collaboration with the ILO’s headquarters in Geneva, the Technical Assistance Group on Decent Work, the ILO’s Moscow Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and the International Social Security Association (ISSA).
