The Supervisory Board meeting of the DOST Agency has been held

The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency, which operates under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, has been held.

The Chairman of the Board, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, emphasized that, by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, the DOST Agency has launched 7 DOST Centers in Baku, Absheron, and Barda districts, as well as a “Smart DOST” service point in the village of Agali in Zangilan, and the Shusha branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center was opened in June this year. He also noted that efforts to expand the DOST service network are ongoing.

It was highlighted that, thanks to the DOST concept initiated by the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, state social services are now provided in a modern, flexible, and fully transparent manner through innovative mechanisms, at a “one-stop-shop” approach.

It was reported that over the past period, 3.2 million citizens have been served at DOST centers, with a 98.4% citizen satisfaction rate. The DOST concept has been awarded more than 60 international prizes and certificates, 12 of which are “Best Practice Awards for Europe.”

The number of countries interested in applying the DOST experience, recognized as Azerbaijan’s new brand globally, continues to grow.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, presented the Agency’s report for 2024. Several issues related to the Agency’s activities, strategic goals, and priorities were discussed.
