Salaries were increased in several organizations funded by the state budget

The new order of President Ilham Aliyev "On increasing salaries of employees working in certain organizations funded by the state budget," provides an increase in the salaries of the employees mentioned within the framework of the next social reform package implemented in the country.

According to the Order, starting January 1, 2025, the monthly official salaries of managers and other employees in several organizations funded by the state budget have been increased by an average of 15%. These organizations include:

• Presidium and Administration of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Administration of its Ganja division;
• Heydar Aliyev Center;
• Research Center of the "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia";
• Atatürk Center in Azerbaijan;
• State archives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, their branches, and regional (city) state archives;
• Permanent Working Group of the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking;
• Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons;
• Baku International Multiculturalism Center;
• Administration of the Agrarian Innovation Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Finance Training and Research Center under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Scientific-Methodological and Professional Development Center under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• State Film Fund under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• "Genocide Memorial Complex" in Guba under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Administration of the National Aerocosmic Agency under the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• The Association of Forensic Medicine and Pathological Anatomy and the Center for Forensic Psychiatric Examination under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• National Culinary Center under the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• The Moral Values Promotion Fund under the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Centralized accounting units under executive authorities.

In total, an additional 1,4 billion manats have been allocated for new increases in social payments as part of the next social reform package. These increases will benefit 3 million citizens.
