The Director-General of the ILO has visited the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center

A delegation led by the Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Guy Ryder, visited the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, which operates under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

The delegation was briefed on the efforts being made to strengthen the integration of vulnerable groups into society, the activities of the Center, and the work carried out there to develop the skills of individuals from vulnerable groups.

It was noted that the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, established under the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, serves the development of the creative potential and integration into society of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.

It was also mentioned that the Center has branches, including the "DOST House" in Ismayilli and the Qarabagh "DOST House" section located within the Barda Regional DOST Center. Currently, a total of around 200 beneficiaries are using the services of the Center, including those at the branches and sections.

Twelve beneficiaries, who successfully completed training in various service areas at the Center, have been involved as trainers at the Center and its branches.

The ILO Director-General familiarized himself with the creative studios, training process, and the conditions created at the Center for enhancing the skills of individuals from vulnerable groups. The guests watched a concert program performed by the trainers and beneficiaries.

At the end of the visit, Guy Ryder wrote his heartfelt words in the Center's guestbook.
