Tatyana Astreyko, First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the DOST Agency.
She was introduced to the services provided to the public, and briefed on the operations and working principles of the DOST centers. Presentations were made on the DOST concept and the achievements in the digitalization of public social services in Azerbaijan in recent years.
During the meeting held at the Agency, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Vusal Nasirli spoke about the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus based on friendly ties. He noted that cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection continues to expand.
The importance of previously signed cooperation documents, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries in recent years, was emphasized. It was noted that an Action Plan for the implementation of this Memorandum, as well as draft cooperation documents between the DOST Agency and Belarus’s “National Center for Electronic Services” Republican Unitary Enterprise, have already been prepared.
The achievements of recent reforms in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection in Azerbaijan were highlighted.
Tatyana Astreyko expressed her positive impressions of the visit to Azerbaijan and stressed the ongoing efforts to expand the bilateral cooperation agenda in the social sphere.
An exchange of views was held on future cooperation in the field of social services.
