Socio-Economic engagement of young people with disabilities ensured

A new session of the Students Acceleration Program, jointly implemented by the DOST Agency and the State Employment Agency to support the socio-economic activity of young people with disabilities, was held at Baku DOST Center No. 5.

Organized in partnership with AccessBank as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, the event aimed to support the development of knowledge and skills among vulnerable social groups.

As part of the session, Khumar Huseynova, Head of the Education and Development Department at AccessBank, conducted a training on financial literacy for participants of the program.

During the training, interactive and practical sessions were held on topics such as budgeting, building saving habits, effective financial management, safe banking practices, and the proper use of digital banking services.

At the end, participants’ questions were answered.

The program aims to transform young people with disabilities into a workforce aligned with labor market demands, improve their employment opportunities and skills, provide relevant practical experience, and challenge the negative behaviors and stereotypes about disabilities present in society.
