In recent years, the DOST model—one of the major achievements of the social reforms carried out in our country—has received high international recognition and has been awarded a number of international prizes, including the “Good Practice for Europe” awards. There is already strong interest in applying the DOST experience in Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Serbia.
These points were highlighted at the next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Chairman of the Board, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, noted that, based on the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, the DOST Agency, seven DOST Centers in Baku, Absheron, and Barda, the “Smart DOST” point in the village of Aghali in Zangilan, the Shusha branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center, and the Kalbajar DOST point have been put into operation.
It was emphasized that the DOST concept—initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva—has enabled the delivery of social services through a “single window” using modern, flexible, and fully transparent mechanisms. It was noted that 3.9 million citizens have been served by the DOST centers so far, with a citizen satisfaction rate of 98.6%.
Ongoing efforts to expand DOST services to all regions of the country were brought to attention.
Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov presented a report on the Agency’s activities. The meeting discussed the work carried out across the Agency’s areas of activity, its strategic goals, and priority issues.
