DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center hosted an event titled “In the Light of Victory,” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of our historic Victory

An event titled “In the Light of Victory,” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s historic Triumph, was held at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center operating under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Organized within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” the event was attended by government officials, members of parliament, families of martyrs, war veterans, and prominent figures of the arts.

Before the official program, participants viewed handicrafts created in various studios of the Center and dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.”

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev emphasized that the great historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev is an eternal source of national pride. The Minister provided information about the large-scale social support measures carried out for the families of martyrs and war participants. He also highlighted the significant role of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center—established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva—in advancing an inclusive society, developing the talents and abilities of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, and promoting their integration into society.

It was noted that the inclusive project “In the Light of Victory” likewise aims to reveal and showcase the creative potential of talented individuals from vulnerable groups who are engaged at the Center.

Following this, a concert program dedicated to Victory was presented, featuring performances by the Center’s trainers and beneficiaries, well-known artists, and accompanied by the Inclusive Ensemble.

Performances by members of vulnerable groups of the Center—who shared the stage with People’s Artists Sevda Alekbarzade, Nurlan Novrasli, Emil Afrasiyab, Abbas Baghirov, Eurovision representative Elnur Huseynov, winner of the Mugham TV Contest Mirelem Mirelemov, and singer Murad Arif—were met with great interest from the audience.
