Another meeting held on the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities

Another meeting was held at the DOST Agency within the framework of state monitoring of the rights of persons with disabilities. The event, held on the topic “Information Accessibility”, was attended not only by members of the State Monitoring Commission but also by representatives of the Audiovisual Council, the “Support for the Deaf” Public Union, and the “Social Assistance for Persons with Hearing and Speech Impairments” Public Union.

During the meeting, information on the activities of the Commission and the work carried out was presented. Discussions on the topic followed. Participants exchanged views on information accessibility on television channels, social media, and electronic resources, as well as on the opportunities for persons with disabilities to access information.

Participants also shared their opinions and proposals regarding the issues discussed.
