
Members of the DOST Agency’s “Volunteer DOST” program participated in the 8th Solidarity Forum of Azerbaijani Volunteers. Held within the framework of “Azerbaijan Volunteer Week 2025”, the event was dedicated to the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.
The forum aimed to further expand volunteer activities in the country, encourage volunteers to actively contribute to the development of society, and enhance their social responsibility. As part of the forum, an exhibition of volunteer organizations operating in Azerbaijan was held. At the individual stands, information about the activities and achievements of Azerbaijani volunteers in various fields was presented. Government officials and Azerbaijani volunteers attending the forum visited the exhibition.
A video clip dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Victory in the 44-Day Patriotic War, along with video reports reflecting volunteers’ activities in various fields, was shown during the forum.
As part of the forum, more than 50 young volunteers were awarded the “Volunteer of the Year 2025” prize to recognize their contributions to volunteer work and promote social responsibility among youth.
Among the winners were members of the “Volunteer DOST” program: Qadir Nasirov received the “Volunteer of the Year” award in the category “Volunteering in State Institutions”, and Fatimə Bayramova in the category “Volunteering in the Social Sphere”.
It should be noted that the 8th Solidarity Forum of Azerbaijani Volunteers was held with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by the Union of Azerbaijani Volunteer Organizations, and in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Justice, and “ASAN service”.
