Minister Anar Aliyev received citizens in Aghdam

Minister of Labour and social protection of the population Anar Aliyev received residents of the Aghdam and Tartar districts in Aghdam.

Prior to the reception, Anar Aliyev, together with Vaqif Hasanov, Head of the Executive Authority of the Aghdam District, visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

During the reception, citizens raised issues related to employment, disability, housing provision, social services and other matters. Among the applicants were family members of martyrs and war participants. Each appeal was reviewed individually, and appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the outcomes.

Explanations in line with the legislation were provided on inquiries of an advisory nature. Based on their applications, citizens were registered for participation in active employment programmes, as well as the self-employment programme and social services.

Within the framework of the self-employment programme, small businesses established for Aghdam district residents Ulvi Idriszade and Esmira Rzayeva were inspected. With the support of the programme, a small auto locksmith service business was established for Ulvi Idriszade, while a small enterprise for the production of flour-based products was created for Esmira Rzayeva. Both programme participants expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided in facilitating access to small business opportunities for unemployed and job-seeking individuals.

It was noted that over the previous period, nearly 2,600 small businesses were established in the Aghdam district within the framework of the self-employment programme.

The Minister also visited the Specialized Social Service Center established by the Ministry in the Aghdam district. Currently, the Center provides psychological, pedagogical, speech therapy and active therapy services to 36 children with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. Group therapy sessions and training programmes are also organized for the parents of the children.
