More than 4,100 people were provided with social services at their homes from January to March

Social indicators for the first quarter

In the first quarter of this year, 4,117 people were provided with mobile (home-based) social services by the Social Services Agency and the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Of them, 3,786 were elderly individuals living alone, and 331 were persons with disabilities.

Social workers provided them with services such as daily care and meeting household needs, meal preparation and assistance with personal hygiene, as well as help with shopping and resolving коммунal (utility-related) issues.

This service is available to elderly individuals living alone and persons with disabilities who do not live in the same administrative area as their able-bodied relatives or legal representatives and who are in need of social services.
