A delegation of the DOST Agency visited Croatia

A delegation from the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population visited Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

The purpose of the visit was to study innovation and advanced international practices in the fields of social services, employment, and volunteering, as well as to explore opportunities for cooperation.

During the visit, meetings were held with the Croatian Employment Service, an institution for vocational rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities, the Zagreb City Administration, the Social Work Agency, as well as at the ZICER Innovation Center and the Zagreb Volunteer Center.

At the meetings, a useful exchange of experience took place on the development and integration of social services, inclusive employment models, lifelong career guidance, as well as the development of innovation and startup ecosystems with state support.

Future directions for bilateral cooperation in organizing more flexible, inclusive, and citizen-oriented social services were identified.
