A training session on “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Fight Against Discrimination” was held for members of the DOST Agency’s “Volunteer DOST” program.

Agency staff member Amid Hasanguliyev provided participants with detailed information on the rights of persons with disabilities, the concept of an inclusive society, modern approaches to disability and persons with special care needs, the nature of discrimination, and ways to combat it.

The meeting also addressed inclusivity and accessibility, the role of society in this field, the use of correct terminology, existing stereotypes in language, and principles of proper communication with persons with disabilities.

The training included interactive discussions with participants and the exchange of views based on real-life examples.
