
A roundtable discussion was held at the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with representatives of civil society institutions, including members of the Public Council under the Ministry and representatives of non-governmental organizations engaged in anti-corruption activities.
The event was dedicated to the topic “Transparency and Ethical Standards in DOST Services: Citizen-Oriented Governance Experience.” Its purpose was to inform public representatives about the principles of transparency, ethical conduct, and citizen-oriented governance implemented at the DOST Agency and DOST centers, as well as to exchange views on these issues.
Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, spoke about the importance of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in the delivery of public services, emphasizing their significant role in ensuring citizen satisfaction.
Presentations were delivered on the Agency’s practices in legal affairs, records management, administrative management, quality management, service monitoring, strategy, and data management.
Participants were informed about the implementation of ethical standards, measures ensuring transparency in services, quality control and monitoring mechanisms, and preventive measures against corruption.
Elshad Mammadov, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry, and other NGO representatives expressed positive views on the DOST model, which enables the provision of public social services through a one-stop-shop approach that is efficient, transparent, and focused on citizen convenience and satisfaction. They also emphasized the importance of such discussions.
During the roundtable, participants’ questions were answered, opinions and suggestions on the topic were heard, and an exchange of views took place.
