Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the DOST Agency and the National Social Insurance House of Moldova

The pilot implementation of the DOST model will begin in Moldova.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the DOST Agency, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the National Social Insurance House of the Republic of Moldova.

The document was signed by Elena Tibirna, Director General of the National Social Insurance House of the Republic of Moldova, and Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency.

During the meeting, the parties highlighted the effective cooperation established between the two institutions. It was noted that Moldova, one of the countries showing interest in the DOST model, has been working jointly with the DOST Agency to benefit from Azerbaijan's experience in this field and support the implementation of the model.

It was emphasized that the newly signed document will contribute to the successful continuation of these efforts and further expansion of bilateral cooperation.

The Memorandum envisages strengthening cooperation in studying the DOST model and developing social service delivery based on the one-stop-shop principle, as well as joint activities aimed at advancing modern social service systems.

The document also provides for the implementation of pilot phases to introduce the components of the DOST model into the social protection system of the Republic of Moldova, the establishment of institutional and technical support mechanisms, and the expansion of experience sharing within the framework of the partnership.
