776 people joined the "Volunteer DOST" programme in January–June

Social indicators for the first half of the year

During the first six months of the current year, the Volunteer DOST programme received 20,000 applications, with 776 individuals admitted to the programme.

Playing a significant role in promoting the volunteer movement in Azerbaijan, the programme includes several sub-programmes: Young DOST, Silver DOST (for older persons), Remote DOST, Corporate DOST, Inclusive DOST, DigiDOST, and TeleDOST.

Volunteers assist at DOST centers by welcoming citizens, directing them to service desks, managing visitor flow and queues, providing information, and supporting the use of electronic systems, among other tasks.

They contribute to the delivery of public social services under the one-stop-shop principle, with a strong focus on citizen satisfaction.

The programme enables participants to gain practical experience and professional skills in citizen services while supporting their personal development and helping them take their first successful steps in their careers.
