Public Hearing Held at Ismayilli “DOST Evi”

A public hearing was held at the Ismayilli branch of “DOST Evi”, operated by the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The event was organized by the DOST Agency.

The hearing, held under the theme “Building an Inclusive Society”, aimed to strengthen open dialogue with the public and gather views and suggestions on promoting an inclusive society.

The event was organized in accordance with the requirements of the legislation on public participation. Participants included representatives of civil society institutions, active community members from the Shamakhi and Ismayilli districts, and other members of the public.

Shahin Aliyev, Head of the Public Relations and Communications Department of the DOST Agency, briefed participants on the Agency’s activities and objectives. He highlighted the work being carried out to build an inclusive society, promote the integration of persons with disabilities into society, and support their creative potential. It was emphasized that public participation and inclusivity are among the core principles of the DOST model.

Discussions were held on the topic, participants’ views and suggestions were heard, and their questions were answered.

At the end of the event, guests toured the facilities and training units established at the branch for persons with disabilities and received information about the activities of “DOST Evi”.
