In his speech, the ambassador thanked the chairman of the board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov for the openness of the initiative and said that the candy was named "Bal-nar-dost" as a symbol of Hungarian-Azerbaijani friendly relations. The ambassador also congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the victory and wished peace and security to our country.
Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov said the event was held in the framework of cooperation between the DOST Agency and the Hungarian Embassy. Touching upon the friendly relations between the two countries, Farid Mammadov noted that Hungary was one of the first European countries to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan and one of the strategic partners of our country in Europe since 2014. He also noted that the strategic partnership will affect the social sphere, and in 2021, cooperation in this area will be expanded.
