DOST Agency has launched “Support for the use of new technologies for the elderly” component of the joint project with UNFPA, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population on "Building a society for all ages: promoting the well-being of the elderly in Azerbaijan through active aging".
Training coordinators selected from among the "volunteer DOSTs" conducted trainings for retirees at home and in "DOST" centers. On the first day of the trainings, 76 elderly people were informed on “Fundamentals of Information Technology”, “Use of Internet and Social Networks” and “Use of Electronic Payments”.
