Satish Misra, Regional Technical Rehabilitation Technical Officer of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe, and Kasal Morgan, Regional Technical Officer for Disability, visited DOST Center No. 4.
The guests got acquainted with the services provided by the centers in the fields of labor, employment, social security, targeted state social assistance, disability, rehabilitation, pension, social insurance and social welfare.
Seymur Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Provision (DOST), briefed the guests on the working principle of the Center, service units and the activities of the Call Center 142. It was noted that labor and employment, social security, targeted state social assistance, disability and rehabilitation, pensions, social insurance, social welfare, training, etc. are provided in the DOST centers. 155 types of services are provided. These services are provided from a "single window" based on the principle of promptness, transparency and courtesy, civic convenience.
Seymur Aliyev said that on July 25, 2021, according to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the Unified Coordination Centers (CCCs) were established for the families of martyrs, servicemen wounded in the war and people with disabilities, and so far 2915 appeals have been received.
It was noted that 17 DOST centers and 55 DOST branches will start operating in the country by 2025. Thus, DOST services will cover the entire territory of Azerbaijan.
The guests watched the process of serving citizens at the center. The meeting continued in the atmosphere of mutual discussion and exchange of views.
