Kazakh volunteers served at the DOST Center

Kazakh volunteers met with DOST volunteers, who are active participants in the volunteer movement in our country. During the visit to our country, the Kazakh volunteers, who got acquainted with the Baku DOST Center No. 4, were informed about the activities of the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Provision (DOST), as well as the "DOST Volunteer" program.
It was noted that 200 young volunteers currently work at the DOST centers, which have been operating since May 2019. At the same time, for the first time in our country, the "Silver DOST" program is being implemented in order to effectively spend the leisure time of the elderly people. Volunteers help citizens who use services in the field of labor, employment, social protection and social security in the centers, support them in preparing the necessary documents, care for vulnerable groups.
Kazakh volunteers, along with DOST volunteers, served at the DOST Center and exchanged experiences. The group's coordinator Aygerim Jarylgasova stressed the importance of the visit in terms of exchange of experience and stressed the importance of further cooperation in this area.
At the end, a photo was taken and gifts were presented to the guests.
The visit was held on the basis of the program of exchange of experience in this field with the National Network of Volunteers of Kazakhstan and the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan.
