A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population was held.
Chairman of the Council, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev noted that the Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency (DOST Agency) and 5 DOST Centers were established in May 2019 by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018.
He said that the DOST concept, initiated by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, allowed the provision of public social services through a "single window" through modern and flexible, fully transparent mechanisms. The level of citizen satisfaction with these services is over 98 percent.
It was noted that in 2021, two more DOST centers were opened in Baku and Absheron region, and the number of these centers reached five. In other words, Baku and the Absheron region are covered by the DOST network, and the principle of registration for applying to DOST centers in Baku was abolished last year. Regardless of which district of Baku they are registered in, Baku residents can apply to the services of any DOST center in the capital.
Last year, DOST centers provided services to 416.2 thousand people, in total, about 700,000 people in the past period on direct and e-applications.
This year, the network of DOST centers will be further expanded. At present, in a number of regions of the republic, including Guba, Sumgayit, Ganja, Sabirabad, Masalli and others. Preparations are underway to open DOST Centers in districts and cities.
The meeting discussed the activities of the DOST Agency last year and the tasks ahead. Application of the Integrated Management System related to ISO certification of the Agency's activity, approval of internal rules on the activity of the agency, etc. issues were discussed.
