On April 1, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Provision (DOST) and Baku State University (BSU). The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov and Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev.
Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev said the memorandum will cover a wide range of cooperation. He noted that the experience of the Agency, which has become a brand in the social sphere in a short time, is already being studied by foreign countries.
Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, noted that the main purpose of his organization is to ensure citizen satisfaction in the field of social security and employment. Expressing great hope for the potential of BSU in this area, Farid Mammadov noted that the signed memorandum will bring positive results for both institutions.
According to the memorandum, the parties agreed to exchange experience, organize joint programs, develop students' knowledge and skills in the field of public services. The memorandum also covers the implementation of innovative initiatives, research, statistics and analysis, and the organization of joint activities on other issues.
The Memorandum also contains articles on the development of a joint cooperation platform, finding innovative and high-tech solutions in the field of public services.
Under the agreement, bachelor's and master's students of Baku State University will participate in various volunteer and internship programs. In addition, the relevant employees of the Agency will benefit from the educational and innovative infrastructure of the university, and DOST volunteers will participate in training programs organized for the youth of the university.
