Olga Kulayeva, Director of the International Labor Organization's (ILO) Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Yashar Hamzayev, ILO Coordinator for Azerbaijan, visited the Baku DOST Center No. 1. Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov acquainted the guests with the center and gave detailed information about the service process. It was noted that the DOST centers provide citizens with 154 types of services on labor and employment, social security, disability, pensions, etc. These services are provided from a "single window" based on the principles of efficiency, transparency and citizen convenience. The guests were informed that DOST services will cover the entire territory of Azerbaijan by 2025. ILO representatives watched the process of providing services to citizens at the Baku DOST Center No. 1.
Afterwards, the ILO representatives were introduced to the concept and activities of DOST. Prospects for future cooperation between the agencies were discussed at the meeting.
It should be noted that Olga Kulayeva is visiting Baku as part of a conference between Azerbaijan and the ILO to determine the priorities and results of the new Decent Work Country Program (2022-2026).
