Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of social protection is expanding

Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev and Turkey's Minister of Family and Social Services Darya Yanık had a videoconference meeting.

S. Babayev stressed that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey based on the factor of unwavering friendship, brotherhood and unity of peoples is constantly developing, and the important role of the joint efforts of the heads of state of the two brotherly countries in this direction. The brother noted that Turkey's political and moral support during the 44-day Patriotic War made every citizen of Azerbaijan proud.

The minister discussed the social reforms carried out in our country in the past period and their positive results, the DOST concept, single coordination centers for the appeals of members of the families of martyrs, military personnel injured in the war and disabled persons, social support measures related to the families of martyrs and veterans in the post-war period, in the social field application of electronic technologies, proactive services provided to the population, etc. informed about.

S. Babayev spoke about the successful cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of social services as well as in other fields.

He emphasized the importance of further strengthening of relations in the direction of ensuring the social welfare of persons with disabilities and the elderly, children and women, war participants and families of martyrs.

D. Yanık said that the constant development of relations between the two brotherly countries is a source of satisfaction. He talked about Turkey's experience in the field of social reforms and the successes achieved.
