"There are deep-rooted close relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Hungary, and even today, with the efforts of the leaders of both countries, relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary are at a high level. This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary. 50 documents signed between the two countries in the past period, especially the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed in 2014, created conditions for further deepening of relations. In the 8th month of 2022, the trade turnover of Azerbaijan and Hungary increased by 9.2 percent, and the main goal is further expansion of relations."
This opinion was emphasized in the meeting of the minister of labor and social protection of the population, co-chairman of the joint commission on economic cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary Sahil Babayev and the newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Hungary to our country Tamash Torman.
Congratulating T.Torman on his new appointment, S.Babayev drew attention to the historical Victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev. He noted that our territories were freed from the occupation of Armenia and great construction works were being carried out in those territories destroyed by the aggressor Armenia.
