The Ambassador of Romania to Azerbaijan visited DOST Agency

DOST Agency had a meeting with Vasile Soare, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Azerbaijan.

Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, informed the guests about the DOST concept. He noted that 154 types of services on labor and employment, social security, targeted state social assistance, disability and rehabilitation, pension, social insurance, social welfare, training, etc. are provided in DOST centers. These services are provided from a "single window" in an efficient, transparent and courteous manner, based on the principle of citizen convenience. Farid Mammadov said that 17 DOST centers and 55 DOST branches will start operating in our country by 2025, thereby DOST services will cover the entire territory of Azerbaijan. The Chairman of the Board emphasized that the development of bilateral cooperation in the social field will be mutually beneficial.

During the meeting, the official visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov to Romania and the expected visit of the Romanian Minister of Labor and Social Policy (Solidarity) Marius-Konstantin Budai to Azerbaijan in November were discussed, and a wide range of views were exchanged on the prospects of mutual cooperation.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the activity and working principles of the DOST Agency. The guests expressed their satisfaction with the meeting.
