The DOST model will be presented as an example to other countries

Farid Mammadov, chairman of the Board of DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, who participated in the World Social Security Forum held in Morocco, met with the leadership of the International Social Security Association (ISSA).

It should be noted that at this Forum organized by ISSA, the DOST Agency and the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry have achieved further international successes: SSPF "Good management" and "Service quality" criteria by ISSA, DOST Agency "Service quality" criterion were awarded with three Certificates of Excellence. With this, the number of international awards awarded by both institutions has already reached 11 this year.

During the meeting, F. Mammadov gave detailed information to Secretary General of the ISSA, Marcelo Abi-Ramia Caetano, Head of the Office of the Secretary General, Jens Schremmer, and Regional Coordinator for Eurasia, Dmitri Karasyova about the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan, the DOST concept, the successes of the Agency, the projects and programs carried out in recent years.

ISSA representatives welcomed the activities of DOST Agency with great interest and said that the DOST model will be delivered to other countries through the ISSA platform.

They noted that the DOST Agency will be involved in various webinars, seminars and conferences in order to show Azerbaijan's achievements in the field of providing state social services as an example to other countries.

During the meeting, broad views were exchanged about the membership of the DOST Agency in the ISSA, as well as the prospects of mutual cooperation.

ISSA is a leading international organization that includes 320 social insurance and social security institutions from 160 countries.
