In the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, an event dedicated to the 1st anniversary of the establishment of the Center was held on November 8 - Victory Day.
The event was attended by representatives of governmental and non-governmental institutions, MPs, veterans of the Patriotic War, artists. The participants first got acquainted with the exhibition of handicrafts of the center's beneficiaries. "Kharibulbul" badges were presented to them.
At the event, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev spoke about the great historical victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He said that November 8 - Victory Day, which is the peak of our 44-day heroic chronicle, is a source of infinite pride for our people. The minister also informed about the social support measures taken in relation to the families of martyrs and war participants, according to the instructions of the head of state.
It was noted that the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, which was opened a year ago with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva, is also implemented in the field of support for vulnerable groups, including members of martyrs' families and persons with war-related disabilities. is another manifestation of active state policy.
In this inclusive space, which was created on the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, services are provided to people with disabilities, family members of martyrs, and people from other vulnerable groups for the development of their creative potential and integration into society.
The center has an auditorium for 121 people, various professional-creative rooms and studios, library, administrative rooms, canteen, etc. consists of. Dance, fine arts, pottery, music, tailoring, carpet weaving, embroidery, art carving, floristry, landscape design, stage performance and other disciplines are organized here.
The event continued with a concert program jointly prepared by DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, Chamber Orchestra and Azerbaijan State Wind Orchestra.
Works of Azerbaijani composers, choral and dance numbers were presented performed by beneficiaries and trainers of the center.
