The delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Yurie Tsurkanu, who visited our country, visited Baku DOST Center No. 1.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev informed about the innovative innovations brought to the system of state social services by the DOST Agency and DOST centers created by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, and the advantages of the DOST model. It was reported that the DOST concept, an initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, made it possible to establish services in the social field from a "one-stop shop", transparent, flexible, according to the principle of citizen comfort and satisfaction.
The delegation got acquainted with the service units and the service process, as well as the single coordination center at the DOST center. Presentations on the DOST concept and electronic services in the social field were made for the guests.
Then S.Babayev in his meeting with Y.Tsurkanu emphasized that relations between the two countries are constantly developing as a result of the mutual efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Moldova. He informed about the great construction and reconstruction works carried out in our territories freed from the occupation of Armenia for nearly 30 years.
In recent years, large-scale reforms in the fields of labor, employment and social protection in Azerbaijan have been brought to attention. It was noted that the relations with Moldova include the fields of labor, employment and social protection, as well as the active cooperation of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry and the National Social Insurance Fund of Moldova.
Y. Tsurkanu noted that they are interested in the expansion of relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, and at the same time, they are interested in the development of cooperation in the social field, in this field, as well as in active exchange of experience in the direction of establishing digital services.
