Another support from President Ilham Aliyev to vulnerable groups: benefit and grants were also increased

Within the framework of the new social reform package for 2023, the new Decree and Orders signed by President Ilham Aliyev improve the welfare of the population, support a number of categories, including the families of martyrs, persons with war-related disabilities, etc. ensures that the next important steps are taken in the direction of increasing social payments. With this, the fourth social reform package has already been implemented in the last five years.

According to the signed new Decrees and Orders, from January 1, 2023:

• Monthly grant of the President for the martyr's family — 600 manats;

• Monthly grant of the President to persons with disabilities due to war, military service duties and military service at the Chernobyl NPP, January 20:
 For 81-100 percent body disfunction (I degree) — 500 manats,
 For 61-80 percent body disfunction (II degree) — 400 manats,
 For 31-60 percent body disfunction (III degree) — 330 manats;

• One-time benefit for the birth of a child — 500 manats;

• One-time funeral benefit — 500 manats;

• One-time benefit for treatment of radiation accident victims — 300 manats each year;

• Benefit for persons with disabilities:
 For 81-100 percent body disfunction (I degree) — 270 manats,
 For 61-80 percent body disfunction (II degree) — 220 manats,
 For 31-60 percent body disfunction (III degree) — 150 manats;

• The President's monthly grant is increased to 300 manats for persons who are visually impaired due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions due to general causes (I degree);

• The President's monthly grant is increased to 200 manats due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions (I degree) due to general causes (except for visually impaired persons);

• The monthly grant of the President for the participants of the Second World War of 1941-1945 is increased to 330 manats;

• Age benefit — 220 manats;

• Benefit for the loss of the head of the family (for each family member) — 120 manats;

• Benefit for low-income families with children under one year of age (addressed social assistance recipients) is increased to 100 manats per child;

• Benefit for women with more than five children is increased to 105 manats per child;

• Due to 81-100 percent body disfunction (I degree) and those caring for persons with disabilities under the age of 18, the President's monthly grant is increased to 100 manats;

• President's monthly grant for non-working pensioners who have worked at scientific and educational institutions for at least 25 years at the main place of work and have a scientific degree:
 for the scientific degree of doctor of sciences — 500 manats,
 for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy - 300 manats;

• Monthly grant for persons awarded with honorary titles:
 For the honorary title "People" — 200 manats,
 For the honorary title of "Honoured" - 150 manats;

• Personal пкфте of the President — 1500 manats;

With the new decrees and orders, the increase of social payments aimed at a total of 660,000 people is ensured.

It should be noted that in 2023, additional 750 million manat funds are planned for the next increases in social payments covering 1.9 million citizens under the new social reform package.
