The co-chairmen of the Intergovernmental Commission between Azerbaijan and Serbia exchanged views on the future directions of cooperation between the two countries

The minister of labor and social protection of the population, who is on a visit to Serbia, the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, Sahil Babayev, had a meeting with the co-chairman of the same commission on the Serbian side, the minister of labor, employment, veterans and social affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic.

During the meeting, it was stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia are constantly developing on the basis of friendly relations. It was emphasized that as a result of the political will and efforts of the heads of state of the two countries, these relations have risen to the level of strategic partnership and are gradually expanding in various fields.

The co-chairs of the commission reviewed the cooperation agenda of the two countries. Energy, agriculture, trade, education, social, etc. ideas were exchanged on future cooperation in the fields, Serbia's participation in the Black Sea underwater electric and digital connection project, promotion of mutual investments. The possibilities of increasing bilateral and transit cargo flows were discussed, ways of expanding relations in the field of labor, employment and social protection were discussed.

In recent years, the implementation of innovative solutions in the social field, the successes achieved in the field of electronicization of state social services, and the DOST concept have been noted in our country. The importance of the exchange of experience between the two countries in the social field was emphasized.
