The scope of the electronicization program in the social field will be further expanded

Last year, another 618.3 thousand citizens benefited from DOST services and the level of satisfaction of citizens with these services was 98.5 percent. In total, services were provided to 1.3 million citizens in DOST centers in the past period.

This was announced at the next board meeting held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev noted that the DOST Agency and 6 DOST centers were opened in May 2019 by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev. The concept of DOST, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, is one of the important innovative successes of the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years, and ensures the provision of 154 services related to social fields from a single window, on an operative, transparent, modern and innovative basis.

It was noted that one more DOST center was opened in December 2022, bringing the number of these centers to 6. Also, in May 2022, the first "Smart DOST" service point was put into use in Agalı village of Zangila. In the last year, a number of innovations in the field of DOST services (online queuing service, organization of mobile services, mediation service, sign language translation, etc.) have also been implemented. Also, DOST Agency was honored with 8 international awards, was selected as a finalist for 2 projects, and received 4 international ISO certificates.

In the social field, it was mentioned about the electronicization program that has been carried out consecutively in the last five years. It was noted that the works in this field were continued last year, that 140 of the 153 services of the Ministry or more than 90 percent have been electronicized, and 51 proactive services are operating on the e-system. Last year, it was brought to attention that the information systems of the Ministry were the first state institution whose transition to the "Government Cloud" was fully ensured.

It was reported that 9.9 million applications were registered to the e-services of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in 2022, and the number of requests and applications to the e-systems of the Ministry was 209 million. Last year, 314,000 more proactive appointments were made. The e-social portal was used 1 million 273 thousand times last year, in total 10.9 million times in the last period.
