The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population had a meeting with the delegation led by the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare of Montenegro, Admir Adrović, who visited our country.
Sahil Babayev, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro are constantly expanding based on high-level political dialogue and friendly relations.
He said the role of the 18 cooperation documents signed between our countries in the past period in the development of relations, the trade turnover is constantly increasing and last year it increased by 99.6 percent.
Emphasizing that there is great potential for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro, S. Babayev spoke about the activities of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of the two countries in this direction.
In order to further develop bilateral relations, the importance of expanding the legal framework between our countries was stated. The Montenegrin delegation was informed about the successes of the reforms carried out in the fields of labor, employment, social protection, and social services in Azerbaijan in recent years, as well as the concept of DOST, which allows the presentation of state social services from a "one-stop shop", modern and transparent, according to citizen satisfaction.
It was pointed out that this experience of our country is highly valued at the international level and that experience is studied by the relevant institutions of many countries, we are ready to share this progressive experience with Montenegro, and the achievements of the extensive electronicization program in the social field in Azerbaijan were brought to attention.
Expressing his satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and his good impressions about our country, A. Adrovich expressed his country's friendly attitude towards Azerbaijan and expressed interest in the expansion of bilateral relations in all fields, including the social field.
