An exchange of views on future cooperation with the UN Development Program was held

At the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, there was an acquaintance meeting with Nuno Queiros, acting as the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Azerbaijan.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev congratulated Nuno Queiros on the occasion of his appointment as the acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Azerbaijan. The Minister informed about the achievements of the successful social reform program of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the reforms carried out in the labor, employment and social protection system in our country in recent years, the DOST concept, and the wide application of innovative innovations in the social field.

It was emphasized that in the process of social reforms, as well as in the field of active employment measures, a successful experience of cooperation with the UN Development Program was formed in the past. The importance of the jointly implemented "Development of Innovation and Employment in Azerbaijan", "Creating inclusive and decent workplaces for socially vulnerable groups of the population", "Ensuring the rights and well-being of women with disabilities and war veterans", "Workforce Recovery Initiative" and other projects has been mentioned.

The importance of those projects in increasing access to the labor market of young people, as well as vulnerable population groups and women, and in the vocational-labor and social rehabilitation of persons with disabilities was noted.

Nuno Queiros expressed confidence that effective cooperative relations will continue successfully in the future and said that he will spare no effort in further expanding cooperation in the future. At the meeting, views were exchanged on future cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
