The next meeting of the Trilateral Commission on Social and Economic Issues was held

The next meeting of the Trilateral Commission on Social and Economic Issues, represented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (ATUC) and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ACE) was held.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Chairman of the Commission Sahil Babayev, Chairman of ATUC, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, Chairman of ACE Mammad Musayev, members from all three bodies of the Commission.

S. Babayev noted the social reforms carried out in our country in recent years, as well as wage reforms. He drew attention to recent changes made to the labor legislation, including those that serve to expand employment opportunities for women. According to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated May 23, 2023, the Labor Protection Center, which is being established under the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry, will serve to improve management in the field of labor protection and workplace certification, and the benefits of this Center for employees and employers have been mentioned.
