Another country is interested in deploying the DOST experience in Azerbaijan

The delegation, led by Farid Mamedov, the Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, is currently visiting Uzbekistan. The purpose of the visit is to introduce the DOST concept, which is the main element of the reforms being implemented in the field of social protection in Azerbaijan, as well as to exchange experience with Uzbek colleagues in this area.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the National Social Protection Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov informed about the concept of DOST, the principles of organizing services according to the “single window” model, the results of activities in this area and the importance of social services. The meeting featured a broad presentation of the concept. The presentation contained detailed information on the operating principles and service delivery of the Agency and DOST Centers.

At the meeting were discussed social protection, social services, as well as the use of innovative solutions, electronic technologies, etc. An exchange of views on cooperation also took place. Mechanisms for joint work and coordination of activities at the level of cooperation between the two structures were discussed.

Uzbekistan is one of the countries showing interest in studying and applying the successful experience accumulated in the social sphere in Azerbaijan in recent years. The delegation of Uzbekistan noted that it attaches special importance to the experience of DOST, as well as to the study and application of our country’s experience in the provision of social services from a single platform and in an automated manner.

It's worth noting that during the visit, scheduled from October 17-21, the DOST Agency delegation plans to participate in various meetings and events.
