According to the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, large-scale measures of social support for the families of martyrs and persons with disabilities due the war will be further expanded.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev stated this at a board meeting held in the ministry.
It was noted that after the Patriotic War, which ended with our historical Victory, 103 thousand people who were members of the families of martyrs and war veterans were assigned 115 thousand social payments, 20 thousand people were employed.
As part of the “Great Return” program, information was provided on large-scale employment measures being implemented in the territories liberated from occupation.
It was brought to the attention that about 70% of able-bodied residents resettled in these areas are already employed. It was noted that these measures will continue to expand.
The meeting also discussed the reception and consideration of citizens' appeals from the ministry, internal control and audit, personnel issues, work with documents and citizens' appeals and other areas and upcoming tasks.
