Directions for further development of Azerbaijani-Serbian relations were discussed

The delegation, headed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, who is the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, is visiting Serbia.

The delegation, having visited the «Tasmajdan» park in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, laid flowers at the monument to National leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his memory.

The “Friendship” Park in Belgrade was also visited, where 100 plane trees were planted in connection with the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

At a meeting with the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Protection of Serbia and the Serbian co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, Nikola Selakovich, S. Babayev noted that thanks to the political will and efforts of the heads of state of the two countries, relations between our countries have developed and reached the level of strategic partnership.

Issues of increasing bilateral and transit cargo flows, promoting mutual investments, future new joint projects, as well as expanding cooperation in the fields of labor, employment and social protection were discussed at the meeting.
