This year the process of opening new DOST centers in our regions will continue

Ensuring flexibility of services at DOST centers is a constant consideration. If in 2019 the average time for providing services to citizens in the centers was 9 minutes 39 seconds, then in 2023 this time was 7 minutes 5 seconds, and the waiting time in the centers decreased from 3 minutes 54 seconds to 2 minutes and 57 seconds.

The organization of DOST services at the regional level, electronicization in the social sphere and the implementation of the “Friend of the Unemployed” programs and other things were discussed at the meeting to discuss the work done in the areas and upcoming goals.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev said that last year the coverage area of DOST services expanded, which over the past period were used by more than 2 million citizens. It should be noted that the DOST Karabakh Regional Center, which opened in Barda in August 2023 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, also covered 9 other cities and regions (Khankendi, Agjabedi, Agdam, Barda, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Khojavend, Shusha and Terter) with DOST services.

It was emphasized that the process of opening new DOST centers in our regions will continue this year. In DOST centers, where 159 services related to the social sphere are quickly and transparently provided from a “single window”, since last year a range of services has been implemented that correspond to the new concept of employment, as well as the “Fastest” service (emergency electronic call to the Ministry of Justice), mediation , “RehaPoint”, etc.
