Age pension

If the pension capital registered in the insurance part of the individual account of a person who has reached retirement age allows for pension coverage not less than the minimum amount of labor pension, regardless of insurance length of service, and if this does not allow for pension coverage, if he has at least 25 years of insurance length of service (according to age until July 1, 2017 with the exception of persons assigned to a labor pension) have the right to a labor pension based on age. (the age limit for men is increased by 6 months starting from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2021, and the age limit for women is increased by 6 months starting from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2027.

Under the terms of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Labor Pensions", the below-mentioned persons have the right to an age-based labor pension with preferential conditions for children, with the age limit reduced by 5 years:

1. Women who have given birth to five or more children, adopted and (or) taken them under guardianship and brought them up to the age of eight;
2. Mothers who brought up their disabled children up to the age of eight;
3. Due to the death of the mother or the termination of the marriage with the mother, or the deprivation of the mother's parental rights, fathers who raise 5 or more children or children with disabilities under the age of eight without entering into another marriage, as well as those who adopt 5 or more children up to the age of eight on their own foster fathers, as well as male guardians who raise 5 or more children up to the age of eight.

Age pension on preferential terms:

Regardless of the last place of work, the insured working in underground works, special fields of art, as well as in particularly harmful and difficult working conditions (list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 23, 2007, No. 12): men - at 60 years old, if they have at least 25 years of insurance experience and at least 12 years and 6 months of this period in those jobs, women - at the age of 55, at least 20 years of insurance experience and at least 10 years of this period in those jobs and pension capital registered in the insurance part of the individual account has the right to age pension on preferential terms for working conditions.
