What Is the Initial Work for Organizing Job Fairs?

To organize job fairs, the local offices of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or “DOST” Centers, first assess the real demand for workforce from employers based on the available vacancies.

 

Which Institution Organizes the Job Fair Schedule?

Based on demand, the schedule for organizing job fairs in each administrative region is prepared and managed by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 
For How Long Are Job Fairs Organized?

Job fairs are held according to the approved schedule, but they are organized at least once every three months.

At job fairs, unemployed and job-seeking individuals are offered the following services through direct contact with employers:

·         Information on career opportunities, the labor market, and professions;

·         Guidance on career and profession selection;

·         Enrollment in vocational training programs;

·         Participation in paid public work programs;
