A meeting was held with bloggers active in the social sphere as part of the state monitoring of the rights of persons with disabilities. At the event, which took place at the Baku DOST Center No. 4, the guests were first informed about the working principle of the center, service areas, as well as the activities of the "Call Center 142".
Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov briefed on the DOST concept. He noted that services in fields of labor and employment, social security, disability, pensions, etc. are provided in DOST centers. 154 types of services are provided. These services are provided through a "single window" based on the principle of promptness, transparency and courtesy, civic convenience. Farid Mammadov said that 17 DOST centers and 55 DOST branches will be launched in the country by 2025, which will cover the entire territory of Azerbaijan.
Leading consultant of the Department of Data Management and Analysis Zahra Hasanova made a presentation on "Goals and objectives of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities, the work done." The presentation outlined the purpose of the Monitoring Commission, main directions, areas covered, target groups, etc. information was provided on the topics.
Afterwards, the bloggers exchanged views on the topic. Innovations and problems in this field were discussed and new proposals were made.
In conclusion, Farid Mammadov noted the importance of the event and suggested holding such meetings regularly. The Chairman of the Board noted that the issues proposed at the meeting will be taken into account, noting that in the future it is possible to implement a number of joint projects with socially active bloggers.
