A meeting was held in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities

Another meeting was held in DOST Agency within the framework of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities.

In addition to the members of the State Monitoring Commission in the field of the rights of persons with disabilities, representatives of the State Employment Agency, the State Labor Inspectorate, the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations took part in the event.

Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, spoke about the work done in the field of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, and informed the event participants about the goals and tasks of state monitoring in this field.

Zahra Hasanova, an employee of the agency, made a presentation on the topic "Goals and tasks of state monitoring in the field of rights of persons with disabilities, works done". In the presentation, the purpose, directions, areas covered by the Monitoring Commission, etc. information was given about the topics.

At the event, a discussion was held on "Difficulties of employers in creating reasonable and adapted working conditions for persons with disabilities". The participants voiced the problems related to the current field, as well as voiced their opinions and suggestions on the topic.
